Streams

I’m looking out of my window at the leftovers of a former hurricane.

It all seems so harmless now. The howling winds of death and destruction have long dissipated into a flow of clouds and rain.

The precipitation is forming multiple streams and rivulets. They start at the high ground and weave downhill, taking the path of least resistance to the raging and overflowing creek behind my home.

That’s how streams of water work.

Lot’s of little flows create a rage.

Streams are more powerful than first imagined.

Small trickles join forces with other small trickles. The trickle becomes unstoppable.

The power of streams works with more than water.

It also works with money.
And food (good food and bad food).
And attitudes.
And justice.
And mercy.
And love.

Don’t underestimate the power of a stream.
