I am loving the way musicians are flooding social media feeds with free live-streamed music right now.
One of the bands I follow is a Mexican guitar playing duo called whose moniker is simply their first names: Rodrigo y Gabriella, respectively.
Creativity happens when two disparate things come together. In the case of this duo, they are bringing together Spanish/classical guitar and old-school heavy metal licks.
The result is astounding.
Steve Jobs said that "creativity is just connecting things." This is a fantastic definition. There's nothing new under the sun. There is no such thing as pure originality.
But there is a possible new connection.
