A Face On A Billboard

You can do this without being schmaltzy.

You don’t have to be like the late-night TV lawyers or real estate agents who put their faces on billboards. This kind of marketing might work for a few. If you spend enough money and flood the space with photos of your smiling face you might get a few leads. You will annoy a lot. The numbers game might work in your favor. It is possible to get results by sheer force of will.

It might work for you.

It won’t work for most.

No one will love you.

I’ve started giving away a significant and valuable assessment piece of what I do for a living. This week, three potential clients have moved up my pipeline. Movement is directly related to what I gave away.

Marketing done well is about generosity, gratitude, and relationship building.

Learn this lesson well.

Especially if you’re the face on a billboard type.
