The Manipulators and the Leaders

The actions of a leader are often similar to that of a manipulator. They are both seeking to move people from one point to the next.

They are seeking a different tomorrow than what is experienced today.

They affect the mind, emotion, and will of those around them.

There is only a faint line between "changing the narrative" and gaslighting.

Leaders and manipulators build trust to achieve their goals.

The subtle but profound difference is this.

Leaders are relationally generous. Manipulators are relational hoarders. Leaders own authentic transparency. Manipulators hide.

Don't hide. Don't manipulate.

Lead.
