Dads and Daughters

I’ve enjoyed being the dad of a daughter for 24 years, as of today.
Almost a quarter century.

The beautiful simplicity and the magnificent complexity of that relationship have never ceased to astound me.

And I’ve always loved being the Dad to this wild heart who is princess, warrior, and poet all wrapped into one dynamic person.

Happy Birthday.

I knew when I met you an adventure was going to happen.
